Ammonia-firing technologies for ceramics pass expert appraisal

The China Building Materials Federation and Guangdong Ceramics Association organized an appraisal at Monalisa Group on 24 May 2026. Experts assessed two projects covering ammonia-combustion equipment and industrial ceramic firing, inspected the demonstration production line and ammonia station, and reviewed technical and product-quality evidence.

The equipment project was rated internationally leading. The industrial firing project was rated internationally advanced overall, with its ammonia-firing technology rated internationally leading. The work covers flame-stabilizing burners, combined NOx control and production-line integration, providing an engineering demonstration of greener fuels in ceramics manufacturing.
